Agentiile care aduc turisti straini in tara sa nu mai plateasca TVA, este propunerea noului sef al Turismului

Ministrul Dezvoltarii Regionale si Turismului, Cristian Petrescu, a declarat pentru MEDIAFAX ca intentioneaza sa propuna Ministerului Finantelor ca Romania sa aplice TVA zero cel putin pentru cazarea turistilor straini, masura care va duce la scaderea tarifelor si la cresterea numarului de turisti.

” O masura importanta pentru turism ar fi sa nu mai existe TVA la incoming (n.r. – aducerea turistilor straini in Romania). Este o neintelegere legislativa la mijloc, pentru ca incoming-ul inseamna export de servicii turistice, iar firmele romanesti nu platesc TVA pentru exporturi”, a spus Petrescu.

El a adaugat ca va initia un studiu pe aceasta tema si il va prezenta Ministerului Finantelor, astfel incat, “atunci cand economia o va permite”, statul sa scuteasca de plata TVA pe exportatorii de servicii turistice, adica pe turoperatorii care aduc turisti straini in Romania.in prezent, TVA pentru serviciile de incoming este de 9% pentru hoteluri si 24% pentru agentiile de turism.

“O asemenea masura ar fi benefica pentru operatorii de turism, care ar scadea preturile, facand astfel destinatia Romania mai atractiva. Odata cu scaderea preturilor s-ar majora numarul de turisti si cred ca incasarile aduse de aceste cresteri ar compensa reducerea TVA”, a mai spus Cristian Petrescu.

Reprezentantii agentiilor de turism specializate in incoming spun ca reducerea TVA la zero fata de 24%, cat este in prezent, ar fi urmata de scaderea tarifelor. in anii ’90 acestea nu plateau TVA la incoming, pentru ca se considera ca fac export.

In Romania vin anual circa 1,3 milioane de turisti straini. (Mediafax)
